The Company

Palisade Investment Partners, one of Australia’s leading infrastructure fund managers, is looking for a someone to join the team to assist with the provision of timely and high-quality reporting to our investors. 

This role is newly created to ensure all investor requirements are attended to, with a strong focus on improving the investor experience.

Palisade is an independent, specialist infrastructure manager, which has been steadily growing in FUM and size of operations since inception in 2008.

We are a small close-knit team, and employ an experienced mix of infrastructure investment specialists from a range of disciplines including banking, funds management, investment banking, finance, legal and engineering.

Our clients are predominantly institutional investors and asset consultants. With strong growth over the past few years, we are now expanding our client base to include high net worth investors.

The Role

One of our primary goals is to provide timely and high-quality reporting to our current/future clients, and management.  You will ensure that we do this by assisting with client reporting and collaborating with other team members to gather insights and formulate appropriate responses to investor queries. An ongoing improvement mindset will allow you to contribute to reviewing and improving our current processes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Investment Team with regular client reporting, including understanding our contractual reporting obligations and ensuring they are met
  • Coordinating responses to ad hoc client requests, which may include requests for information around ESG, investment performance, and operational processes – this will involve seeking input from other team members or stakeholders as required
  • Managing communications with clients and related parties
  • Identifying improvements to our current reporting and operational processes and implementing them
  • Providing back-up on other functions including fund administration, implementation of our approach to ESG, compliance, and monitoring of processes around new clients and investments

The Candidate

We are looking for a dedicated, professional and proactive individual that is a fast learner, improvement driven and keen to provide our clients with a first-class experience.

The successful candidate should have the following attributes:

  • Completed or in the final stages of a university degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce or other relevant discipline or have equivalent industry experience
  • Previous experience in investor relations in the funds management industry will be highly regarded
  • A strong understanding of the funds management industry
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Strong work ethic with energy and commitment for working in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with other software packages would also be beneficial.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly regarded, growing organisation. 

We are looking for a candidate on a part-time basis for approximately three days per week in our Sydney CBD office. We are flexible on the structuring of these days/hours and have a supportive working environment, with employees able to work from home at times.
