Role Purpose

The role of Business Service Officer (BSO) will be to provide and maintain excellence in customer service in Business Banking’s offering in the NSW market.

The BSO assists the growth of new business lending and deposits and ensures customer retention by providing support to the Corporate Relationship Executives, meeting service and transactional needs of customers within the portfolios.

You will enjoy deepening relationships by maintaining the highest customer service standards at all times, whilst participating in opportunities to develop your industry expertise across Property, Diversified and Syndicated markets.

In this role, you will be required to assist an existing portfolio of high end NSW based corporate clients as well as new to bank customers. This position will also collaborate with a team of corporate banking specialists based in NSW/VIC/QLD/WA, supporting strategy execution to enrich the team’s relationship-led proposition and build upon the existing strengths of service culture, niche industry specialisation and community connectivity.

Passionate about all things customer service, you will demonstrate previous experience in a similar position assisting the growth of new business lending and providing support the Corporate Executives.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within financial services
  • Demonstrated experience in superior customer service
  • Ability to communicate with confidence, and engage positively
  • In depth knowledge of the General Banking and Lending standards & NCCP requirements
  • Strong overall banking knowledge
