JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Overview

  • Responsible for the success of FiftyFive5’s Advanced Quant capability
  • Research design and delivery of FiftyFive5 projects that involve advanced or complex analytics using best in class research methodologies and analytical approaches
  • Giving clients confidence by being the face and voice of FiftyFive5’s advanced analytics expertise in project briefings, pitches, debriefs, workshops, etc.
  • Supporting project teams by:
  • being the source of knowledge and excellence in advanced analytics and research methodology
  • providing ad-hoc analysis and helping the team to understand the implications within the context of the overall project
  • assisting with other analytics needs as required
  • Mentoring, coaching and training FiftyFive5’s team of quantitative research practitioners to ensure company wide delivery of high-quality analysis to clients
  • Ensuring that FiftyFive5 is using the most appropriate and statistically robust research methodologies and techniques
  • Proactively keeping up to date with current thinking on advanced analytics and ensuring the dissemination of this information within the business
  • Adding significant value to projects from a more strategic perspective
  • Maximizing revenue and profit contribution on all client projects
  • Any other activities as required
Qualifications

And Experience

Industry experience: Extensive and relevant experience in quantitative market research:

client responsibility, project ownership, and delivery of advanced

analytics

Required

education: Advanced statistical and data modelling knowledge is essential.

A relevant tertiary degree e.g. Statistics, Marketing, Economics,

Mathematics, Data Science, Psychology etc.

Management experience: N/A

Additional Experience
  • Experience as the source of methodological expertise in your organization
  • Knowledge of, and ability to implement, a suite of advanced methodologies, (clustering techniques, classification trees, regression models, dimension reduction techniques, structural equation models, maxdiff, choice models, machine learning etc.)
  • Exposure to deep dive analytics, customer segmentation and statistical modelling
  • Business acumen with a strategic focus
  • A desire to work with and train junior team members
  • Close attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Rigorous and disciplined thinking
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to efficiently meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to work outside of core hours
  • Working knowledge of relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office, Q, SPSS, R, Python, Tableau etc.
  • Ability to deliver timely solutions and develop strong relationships with different levels of staff, senior management across the organization and external clients
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to carry out duties autonomously and work effectively in a team environment
  • Present and conduct self professionally at all times

Salary: $110,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
