Join us and thrive

Established in 1840, we’re Australia’s first member-owned wellbeing company, delivering health, wealth and care services to more than 700,000 Australians. Today, while we’ve grown to a company of nearly 7000 employees, our focus remains the same as it was 180 years ago — to deliver Real Wellbeing for our customers, members and the community.

Your role

This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre, experienced individual to join Australian Unity’s Wealth & Capital Markets platform. Wealth & Capital Markets comprises the Advice, Investments, Life & Super, Property, and Trustees business units. The strategic purpose of the platform is to link the organisation’s valuable efforts in helping Australians secure their financial wellbeing with capital and social infrastructure needs of the communities. The platform has circa $12bn in assets under management across a range of asset sectors including Cash & Fixed Interest, Australian & International Equities, Property, Mortgages and Life & Super.

In joining as the Performance & Reporting Analyst, your primary objective will be to assist the Senior Performance Analyst in providing analytical and reporting support to the investment teams of both Wealth & Capital Markets and our joint venture partners. This involves providing performance and attribution for all asset sectors and managing associated reporting outcomes for all portfolios and clients.

You will be required to develop a deep understanding of Wealth & Capital Markets products and use this understanding to assist in the development of value-add reporting, alongside analytical support.

Success in this position will be contingent on your ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across the platform, including Investments, Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Distribution and Finance.

This position is permanent and based in our Melbourne office (271 Spring St).
