Role

This role sits in the regulatory reporting arm working closely with the treasury management team. You will ensure the bank meets its regulatory obligations, overlook controls and governance to meet APRA requirements, be involved with automation projects and manage an on-shore and an off-shore team.

On a Day-to-day Basis, You Will Be Responsible For
  • Overseeing the reporting team to ensure that the preparation and delivery of internal and external reports are met
  • Supporting a process improvement and automation project to improve reporting
  • Assessing internal processes and controls and ensuring governance to meet APRA requirements
  • Building and managing senior stakeholder relationships across treasury, risk, and IT teams both locally and internationally
  • Managing a team both on-shore and off-shore
Candidate

This Person Must Also Have The Following Prerequisites

The ideal candidate will have APS 210 and Regulatory Reporting exposure within a Bank, Insurance Company, or a Professional Services Consulting Firm working across Financial Services.
  • Regulatory Reporting and Liquidity Reporting experience
  • Ability to assess controls and identify gaps to mitigate risk
  • Ability to analyse, problem solve and demonstrate experience improving processes and creating efficiencies.
  • Demonstrated people management skills
