JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a customer service superstar with a strong background in asset finance and understanding of asset finance operations to manage our amazing Asset Finance Operations team based in Melbourne.


About the role:

As an Operations Manager, you will assist in maintaining the growth and profitability of Asset Finance by ensuring the efficient documentation and settlement processing of new transactions, including ensuring adherence with credit policy. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Managing, mentoring and training a team of Asset Finance operational staff.
  • Overseeing and supporting documentation and settlements within SLA including preparation of docs, AML/CTF, approval conditions, system requirements, securities registration and settlements.
  • Maintaining high standard of service to clients, introducers/brokers and internal ScotPac stakeholders
  • Monthly reporting of loans documented and settled
  • Maintain and update procedures and conduct training to minimise risk
  • Work closely with project teams, Risk, IT and Finance to assist in the ongoing improvement and development of Asset Finance systems and processes

Your skills & experience:

  • Excellent understanding of Asset Finance
  • Strong planning, time management organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of end to end loan processing from application to settlement
  • Previous experience in a leadership or people management role preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent team work skills
