About The Role

Role Location- 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type- Full-Time, Permanent opportunities (40 hours/week)

The Initiatives Lead is responsible for leading and enabling delivery of key Customer Protection initiatives, projects and change, by setting clear vision of the initiative and a clear path to drive outcomes. Collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, accountability and leadership to achieve team goals is key to success. Key responsibilities will involve coordinating large initiatives across Customer Protection and other ANZ tribes to develop clear outcomes to enable delivery and business readiness. Furthermore, this role is responsible in being the-

  • Business point of contact for Tribes, Financial Crime and Operations for any Technology changes to minimise customer impacts to business
  • Coordinating publication of key stakeholder reporting/Collateral management
  • Regulatory changes implementation (AML/CTF, Privacy, Disputes Resolution ASIC etc) and ensuring effective through post implementation review
  • Maintain FTE repository, Recruitment requests for Customer Protection
  • Coordinate opportunities for process improvement and liaise with the appropriate channels & functional areas to oversee the requirements & implementation of these improvements
  • Managing any Initiative and change communications into the team
  • Initiative execution solutions risks identified and mitigated in line with risk profile


About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following-

  • Awareness of banking and finance fraud and financial crime industry trends. Draw on and share insights.
  • Extensive problem solving skills.
  • Adapts influencing style and approach to effectively build relationships across operational teams.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, all levels of employees and management.
  • Good appreciation of the regulatory environment and likely impacts.
  • Team mentoring and coaching experience.
  • Ability to develop requirements to achieve outcomes within near-term horizon.
