We are currently seeking full time Mortgage Support Staff and Loan Consultant / writer to become part of our growing business.

About the Role

This role is a permanent full-time position suitable for candidates who has minimum 2 years previous experience in the Mortgage Broking Industry.

Key outcomes of the role:

  • To provide professional residential mortgage broking solutions to meet client’s needs.
  • To compile, submit and process applications with appropriate lenders as well as, monitor the application through to settlement on behalf of the client. Take ownership in fostering and maintaining a strong relationship with the client and the bank.
  • To establish, maintain and grow high quality and consistent referral sources to convert into residential mortgage sales, whilst always acting in the best interest of the client, our team, and our business.

Required capability, experience, and personal attributes:

Qualifications and Cognitive Competencies:

  • Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (Ideal)
  • Ability to interpret and analyse relevant data to diagnose issues, trends and emerging problems and initiating actions prior to the execution of tasks.
  • Previous experience with ApplyOnline is highly regarded

Business Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in achieving sales results
  • Proven track record in business development skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with people at different levels
  • Database and systems management skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Understanding of financial services (preferred)

Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High level of self-confidence with considerable drive, energy, and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to anticipate, prioritise and deal with issues proactively and decisively, to ensure work is completed within agreed timeframes
