IT Risk Analyst

We have a newly created opportunity available for an IT Risk Analyst who will work with Technology and the Business to deliver integrated ways for managing risk, control and regulatory compliance requirements.

The role will also be the point of contact for all assurance activities relating to IT.

We will count on you to:

  • Balance business expectations with better practice for technology risk
  • Proactively lead work and activities with the wider teams in creating and managing active risk profiles
  • Consult, provide advice and guidance to ensure that Technology is enabled to manage risk in an informed way
  • Provide risk insights and forward-looking view of risk for Technology
  • Work collaboratively and contribute to projects and initiatives to ensure risks are identified and managed appropriately to ensure their intended outcomes
  • Oversee and manage the execution of audit and assurance-related activities within Technology.

What you need to have:

  • Previous experience in a similar technology risk role
  • A good level of knowledge in IT and operational risk management
  • Strong decision making skills and the ability to identify risks with pragmatic solutions provided
  • An Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements
  • An understanding of audit and assurance processes including various auditing standards
  • Analytical skills to collect, analyse and interpret information and/or data into a useful insight.

What makes you stand out?

  • Professional qualifications in an area of IT Risk e.g. CISA, CRISC, CGEIT would be highly regarded.
