An established and growing non-bank lender headquartered in Sydney with and inter-state offices.

As a non-bank financial institution its lending operations is funded via the domestic and international securitisation markets. The Sydney based Treasury team is responsible for establishing and managing securitisation warehouse and term bond transactions, managing liquidity and hedging risk exposures.

Job Description:

The Treasury Analyst will support all aspects of the company’s Treasury operational activities. The position reports to and works closely with the Treasury Manager, supporting the Treasurer and assisting with liquidity, hedging, arrangement of funding facilities, trust management activities and reporting. This includes the operational management of the securitisation trust vehicles and the warehouse facilities. The role also involves interaction with other areas of including credit, settlements, customer service, finance, IT and data analytics.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in the establishment of new warehouse facilities and term securitisation transactions, including preparation of pools cuts, analysing information for investor presentations, etc
  • Management of liquidity and warehouse facility draws to ensure daily settlement funding is available
  • Management of interest rate swaps including structuring, execution and novation
  • Preparation of monthly trust management reports and distributions
  • Establishment and management of operational aspects of new warehouses/securitised term-deals (e.g. establishing bank accounts, Direct Debit facilities, etc)
  • Processing of daily settlement disbursements ensuring cut-off times are met
  • Preparation of reporting data to financiers, rating agencies, the RBA and APRA
  • Participate as a key member of the project team on the Treasury systems project implementation
  • Other treasury related tasks as required

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • 4+ years’ experience in treasury/financial services
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or a related field
  • Background and knowledge of securitisation preferable
