JOB DESCRIPTION

Led by Lynwen Connick, Chief Information Security Officer, the Security Domain is tasked with making ANZ a safe and more secure place to do business by ensuring our corporate and customer information is secured. The Risk and Compliance Squad assists the Security Domain to effectively manage its Operational, Technical and Cyber Security Risks.

As a Security, Policy, Controls & Compliance Analyst, you will understand and assess the extent to which the information assets and organisational processes are exposed to cyber security risks and help to ensure effective information controls are in place to mitigate the identified cyber security risks. You will apply a consistent, risk-based approach to information security in order to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the security controls and the information they protect.

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following-

  • Previous operational risk, compliance or information security experience is desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in composing papers for various Risk and Governance Committees.
  • Knowledge of technical security controls and operational risk management (e.g. ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 31000, General Information Security Policy and Standards etc).
  • An appreciation of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, Reserve Bank of India, Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority).
  • A demonstrated ability to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders.
  • A desire to continuously learn new technologies and bring innovative ideas into the Squad.
  • An understanding of ANZ’s “New Ways of Working”.
