The Customer Service Network - Projects and Process Improvement team are a customer-focused and committed team with extensive focus across Branch, Specialist Support and Direct Channel functions. We drive changes to improve the financial wellbeing of our customers and communities to build a better bank for the future.

Do work that matters

Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will be responsible for leading the change rollout of the Integrated Channels Proposition for our customers for RBS including Branch, Direct Channels and Private Banking. You have an opportunity to work in a complex project managing the budget, scope, change impact assessments, conducting channel workshops and focus groups to design, development the implement the change.

As a Change Manager Your Key Accountabilities Includes
  • Develop and execute effective strategies and plans to manage the people impact of proposed changes and projects, including overseeing all related communications, training and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure the people-related benefits and risks of the change are well-understood and managed including activities which contribute to post-implementation benefit realisation.
  • Partner with key stakeholder to understand their change needs and provide insights into the stakeholder groups, knowledge and ability gaps.
  • Recommend change management strategies and activities that will reinforce adoption, adaption and acceptance of change.
  • Engage and coach senior leaders who are change sponsors and champions.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on effective change principles and frameworks for managing change
  • Lead the development of artefacts, including change implementation plans, communication plans, stakeholder engagement plan and resistance management plan.
  • Ensure all change related materials are readily available and accessible
  • Provide responsive, effective, accurate and timely change advice to senior leaders and report regularly on progress and achievement of change outcomes.
  • Support training efforts by providing input on the design and delivery of training programs.
    Lead a team of change practitioners providing day to day people management

We’re Interested In Hearing From People Who Have
  • Extensive experience in change management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Group and Bankwest change framework and ability to work within.
  • Experience in setting up change frameworks (desirable)
  • Outstanding relationship skills, including the ability to engage senior business partners and gain their acceptance as a trusted advisor
  • Facilitate an open and honest culture to deliver change within business units
  • Work independently under minimal supervision within a team setting
  • Computer-literate and able to use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word to produce a range of documentation including reports, presentation slides and project plans.
  • Tertiary qualification or accreditation in a business or related discipline
