Reporting to the Head of Anti Bribery & Corruption - Financial Crime Compliance, you will work closely with various stakeholders and colleagues to help to drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Group’s AB&C Program.

The Financial Crime Compliance team is accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing leadership of the group’s financial crime compliance services. You will be part of the wider Financial Crime team which is leading the Group’s approach to managing AML / CTF, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery and Corruption risks and obligations through the provision of policies, frameworks, regulatory engagement, advice, assurance and complex escalations.

On Any Given Day You Will Be

  • Working collaboratively to implement and continually improve the Group’s AB&C Program
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement with respect to the Group’s AB&C controls
  • Identifying risks, trends and any potential control weaknesses with regards to AB&C
  • Supporting effective relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, businesses and countries
  • Demonstrating commitment to the CBA Purpose and Values in executing the Group’s financial crime framework for AB&C
  • Working to identify, communicate and support the strategy around any material AB&C regulatory changes
  • Identifying, designing and assessing controls that are (or will be) in place to enforce AB&C obligations and comply with new or modified regulatory requirements.

We’re Interested In Hearing From People Who Have
  • Strong business knowledge and acumen.
  • Strong experience in financial crime compliance, in a complex organisation across multiple businesses or countries. AB&C experience derived from the Banking industry highly desirable.
  • Advanced understanding of financial crime risk management frameworks and legislative requirements, specifically in respect to AB&C.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and influencing skills, proven through previous success influencing peers and leaders.
  • Highly advanced communication skills and the ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders
  • A track record in building financial crime compliance capability via the delivery of tools and processes that are business aligned.
  • Demonstrated sound judgement in identifying and mitigating financial crime risks.
  • Interest in innovation and driving progress and continuous improvement in managing financial crime risk with the use of technology.
  • A high performer with demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
