About The Job

Job Description

NielsenIQ’s Consumer Insights practice specialises in designing tailored research solutions to solve complex business problems. Our work helps our clients set growth strategies and determines what products or services you ultimately see in the market and how our clients drive their marketing and trade strategies.

Responsibilities

Client Servicing

  • Assist senior staff in delivering quality services to clients and ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications and at the same time meeting the company's quality standards
  • Manage research projects end-to-end: from questionnaire design, survey set up, data acquisition, managing fieldwork, data processing, analysis.
  • Provide support to clients by responding to ad-hoc requests and questions in a timely and efficient manner and by demonstrating commitment to quality and excellent client servicing.
  • Attend client meetings with Senior Managers to understand client business issues and assist them in sales activities in costing projects and building high quality proposals designed to achieve client business objectives.
Functional/Technical
  • Provide value-added analyses and respond to special requests
  • Integrate multiple data sources to answer business issues
  • Manage assigned projects independently
  • Perform quality checks on all reports for alignment to request, accuracy and correctness
  • Ensure standard operating procedures within area of responsibility are observed
  • Recommend improvements in work processes within area of responsibility
About You

Qualifications
  • Location: Sydney, Melbourne, or Auckland
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, market research, psychology, statistics or related
  • Ideally 2-3 years of experience in survey research, insights generation and analytics
  • Knowledge of basic statistical concepts e.g. mean, standard deviation, survey sampling, significance testing.
  • Highly proficient analytical skills with the ability to communicate analytical results
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Be self-motivated, adaptable and proactive - no two days are the same in this role!
