We are looking for a Para-Broker with at least 2-3 years of finance experience; particularly related to mortgage broking or home loan lending. This is a permanent full-time role with an attractive salary of between $70,000 - $80,000 per annum depending on experience.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collate and analyse client financial information, to support Broker’s review of scenario(s)
  • Complete all compliance documents for the broker to review (Statement Of Credit Assistance, Client needs Analysis and other mandatory compliance documentation, including Loan Submission Notes)
  • Engage in prompt and clear communications with lenders, clients, Loan Processor and broker
  • Participate with timely file management, prompting or updating clients and lenders, and re-prioritising workflows as required
  • Providing direct support to broker, lending scenario’s evaluation, problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Progression of files through to application-ready, with accurate information and no gaps

The ideal candidate will have experience and skills as follows:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years finance experience, particularly related to mortgage broking or home loan lending
  • Likely to have recently been a broker or lender’s assessor and/or Cert IV qualified
  • Experience particularly with residential lending, with PAYG and self-employed
  • Ability to troubleshoot lending scenarios
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision to an established structured process.
