With a busy and growing business to support, we are always looking for ways to optimise our client and employee experience and cultivate data driven decision making. We are seeking a strong problem solver, analytics translator with data modeling experience.

In this role you will be responsible for owning and delivering analytical projects supporting strategic initiatives, you will consult with stakeholders to understand their business priorities and opportunities then proactively introduce innovative thinking and analytical solutions to those situations. You will apply independent judgment in creating new statistical models, analysing, and connecting model results to business questions and hypotheses as well as manage multiple projects, BAU and ad-hoc activities across the team to deliver high-quality outputs on time and in budget. In addition, you'll drive business impact by working collaboratively across a variety of working groups in an agile work environment to deliver outcomes in a timely manner and mentor junior team members on modelling processes, interpretation of statistical results and storyboarding.

To be a success in this role, you’ll have extensive experience of consulting stakeholders to understand business needs and translating these to analytics use cases to deliver business outcomes, customer insights using advanced analytics methods, modeling and or statistical techniques. You will have experience with the following: development and application of applied statistical and quantitative analysis and modeling; translating business problems to statistical problems; writing code to read, audit and review raw input data and create meaningful data transformations to normalize, align and scale data to address specifics of the business.

Your degree and/or Masters will be in a quantitative subject - degree in statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering (industrial, computer or electrical), or related fields. You’ll have experience working with tools including or similar to Alteryx, R, Python, Tableau, SPSS, SQL, Hadoop, Hbase/NoSQL, Spark and Storm. Banking Industry Experience is a plus.
