OurMoneyMarket's loan origination brand Handypay is a specialist home improvement "buy now, pay later" solution, meaning home improvement businesses can get paid today, whilst their customers can pay over time – that's handy!


This role seeks for a dedicated Settlements Officer to join the Portfolio and Funds Management team where you will be responsible for managing the daily settlement of funds to customers and vendors. You will interact with various teams in Credit, Sales and Finance to ensure the accuracy of funds are processed in an efficient and timely manner. At the same time, you will also liaise with customers regarding their accounts and loan repayments, where you will be able to demonstrate your superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Loan drawdowns and verification of documentation
  • File and data management of loan information in preparation for loan settlement
  • Liaising with customers regarding their accounts and responding to customer queries
  • Ensure investor withdrawal requests are attended to in a timely manner
  • Investigation of non-cleared payments
  • Attend to loan pay-out requests


  • Tertiary qualification in finance or related field
  • Understanding of consumer finance and the lending process would be advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously in a busy office environment
  • Ability to manage priorities whilst maintaining customer service and present workable solutions within a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage high volume portfolio to meet required deadlines and remain focused under pressure
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive work ethics with a CAN-DO Attitude
  • Willingness to work in a supportive and highly productive team, team orientation a must
